Principal’s Message – 3rd June 2021

SEQTA

As mentioned to families in previous correspondence, SEQTA Engage rolls out next week. This is an important period for families to get onto the SEQTA platform and begin using it to communicate with the school and as a repository for school reports, policies, term overviews, calendars and a forum to plan school events.

We are here to help!

If you need assistance in getting registered and connected with ‘SEQTA Engage’, please contact the school office. If your email has recently changed, please contact the office so it can be updated.

School Closure Days

Just a reminder that the school will be closed tomorrow, Friday 4 June and the following Tuesday 8 June. This will make for a 5-day long weekend for the students of school. The staff will be engaging in a First Aid Training day and next week is being taken as the school staff’s ‘Catholic Day’. I hope all students and families enjoy the extra-long weekend and take the opportunity to break up the long eleven week term we are currently in.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Thank you to the parents and candidates who attended the Reconciliation Enrolment Mass last Sunday. It was great to see all of the Year 3 candidates present with their families as they are preparing to receive this important Sacrament.

Kindergarten Information Session

An ‘Information Session’ for prospectus families enrolling into Kindy for 2022 will be held on 16 June, beginning at 9:00am. Please come along if you would like to know more about the Kindy program for the 2022 school year and enjoy a tour of the school.
