Extra Long Weekend School Closure

A reminder to parents that the school will be closed from this Friday 31 May, with the students returning on Wednesday 5 June. I hope all families get the opportunity to enjoy the extra-long weekend.

Interhouse Cross Country Carnival

Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, our Interhouse Cross Country carnival was cancelled yesterday. The new date for the carnival is next Wednesday 5 June. The timetable of events will remain the same as what has been circulated to parents recently.

A reminder that this is a normal school day so students will return to class after their cross country race. Any parents wishing to take their child/children home after their cross country race must sign them out with their classroom teacher back in the classroom. Students are not permitted to be signed out of classrooms then remain in the school.

We wish all students the very best for the cross country carnival.

School Disco

The school disco, organised by the P&F, is fast approaching. Tickets for this event can be purchased from the front office. Please read the disco flyer attached to the newsletter for more information.

Italian Assembly

A reminder to parents that the Italian Assembly is on Wednesday 12 June, beginning at 9:00am in the school hall.  This, traditionally, has been a significant event and this year is no exception. So parents please put this date into your calendars and come along and watch the great performances of the students, if you are able to.

The enrolment period has begun for students beginning in 4-Year-Old Kindergarten for 2025. If you have a child who is eligible to begin 4-Year-Old Kindergarten next year, please ensure you complete and submit an enrolment form to the school office as soon as possible.

Siblings of currently enrolled students need to compete and submit an enrolment form.

If you have any questions regarding the enrolment process of the school, please contact the office on 9583 2500.

School Calendar

Parents are encouraged to visit the school’s term planner on a regular basis to ensure you are informed about upcoming events during the year. The term planner can be accessed by clicking on the following link: School Events Calendar

Principal Awards

Over the past week some students have been sent to my office to receive a Principal’s Award for completing some exceptional work. I congratulate Harry Chamberlain and Hayley Brown, from Year 6 Blue, for their great work in Mathematics. Well done and keep up the great work.

God Bless,

Daniel Gooch
