Principal’s Blog 24 April 2024

Tomorrow is ANZAC day. It is a day when we honour all of the men and women who have participated in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations around the world, including the ANZACs who fought at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I, as part of the ANZAC Day celebrations.

Today the school held an ANZAC Day service in the hall, with all grades present. During the service, students were reminded of the importance of ANZAC Day and devoted some prayers to those fellow Australians who have died on the battlefields. Tomorrow we will be having our Head Girl and Head Boy laying a wreath at the Dawesville dawn service.

A reminder that ANZAC Day is a public holiday, so the school will not be open.
