School Closure

A reminder to parents that the school will be closed from this Friday 2 June, with the students returning on Wednesday 7 June. I hope all families get the opportunity to enjoy the extra-long weekend.

Dockers Cup

On Tuesday our Senior Girls football team, consisting of Year 5 and 6 students, competed in the ‘Docker’s Cup’ football carnival. The girls team consisted of some experienced players and some players new to the game. During the qualifying games, the girls won all 5 games, qualifying for the semi-finals.

They defeated Assumption College in the semi-final, which set up a Grand Final clash with Mandurah Catholic College. Trailing by a point at half time, our girls kicked away in the second half with the wind in their backs. In a tough and physical game the girls defeated MCC by 23 points, making them champion team of the ‘Docker’s Cup’.

This is a fantastic achievement and the participating girls are to be congratulated for the way they competed and conducted themselves throughout the day. A special thank you to Miss Sanders for assisting with the coaching and management of the team and to the parents who were able to come along and support the girls’ team on the day; it was a very exciting day and a fantastic result for all of the girls involved.

SEQTA

Unfortunately, in recent days, there has been some access issues for parents using SEQTA. This is a system issue level that is affecting other schools using the SEQTA platform. We have raised this issue with SEQTA and we hope the issues are rectified soon.

Please contact the office if you have any questions or issues about using SEQTA.
